About Towards Bioscience

Towards Bioscience is an independent research and capacity-building platform founded to make serious scientific work accessible — regardless of institution, geography, or background. We bring together undergraduate and postgraduate students, college faculty, and domain experts to collaborate on real research projects in theoretical biology, genomics, bioinformatics and  computational biology, aiming to produce works that is publisheble, citable, and meaningful. Every project we run is designed to do two things at once: advance scientific knowledge and prepare the next generation of researchers for careers in academia and industry. We believe that the gap between a motivated student and a published scientist is not talent — it is access. Towards Bioscience exists to close that gap.
